Hello my sweet friends..

I am here to tell you I going to have to retire this Blog.

I stated this blog to keep track of my 365 days challenge.

And I had a blast doing that..

But I do have another blog. Some of you have been there.

  I only do a couple of post a week on both blogs..

So I thought I might as well combined them..

I will still be playing scavenger hunt and other photo challenges

But they will be from my other blog.

This is your Life...

You know when you see something and for that moment in time it makes

you stop and think about your life..  Well yesterday I went to a class and

that is what happened.

They wanted us to stop and think about what type of person we really

are..  Do you see the glass as half full...   Or half empty...

Do you see the beauty in the little things. Or are you to busy to stop

and take notice.

For me I know exactly what type of person I am..

(for the most part) That glass is half FULL..

I always try to try to find the good in everything.  I try to

believe that things happen for a reason.  But I am human and 

I am not always this wonderful person my cats think I am. 

I have so many short falls. That if I listened to that little voice telling

me I'm not good enough, I would really be depressed. 

And believe me sometimes I am!

So I guess I will keep on with the positive renforcment

And keep telling my self you can do it..  What ever it is!!
And try really hard not to whine about it.
Nobody likes a crybaby..
(even though that is my nickname from when I was little)
Yep, I was one of those..

I remember I had a photo I had found awhile ago

 and I just loved it..

Well that about says it all.

I just love this.  The site I got it from said it was from an unknown source..

Scavenger Hunt Sunday

Hello everyone..  How is your weekend going?

I am enjoying my long weekend…  We are out of town camping again.

Just trying to get out of the heat!   I have not been around because we have no

internet service up here in the mountain's. 

This week scavenger hunt was a lot of fun.  THANKS ASHLEY..

Here are my interpretation of this weeks words..  

Abstract

I just love the way these droplets of water looked on this spider web..

Stairs

This is one of my kitties favorite places to hang out.  Right at the top of the steps..

She can see everything from there..

I tried everything to get him to smile..

 But he just kept looking at me like I was crazy..

I just love this photo of Myles.. It makes me smile every time I look at it..

Macro

That is pretty sad when the only decent Macro shot I could get is this fly!!

I see you!!!

The other day I was out in my yard..  busy trying to get some yard

work done..  Not an easy task cause it so darn HOT.

Yes I am whining.  When is fall going to get here?

Anyway back to my story.. I was busy trimming some bushes and something

Very Big Jump out at me.  So I Screamed till I found out what it was..

A praying Mantis..  It was the Biggest one I had seen.. 

So I yelled for hubby to get my camera..  I should have know to take my camera out

to do yard work, what was I thinking..   

Well by the time hubby got my camera he was long gone! 

So I continued on with my yard work. Thinking bad things about my hubby

cause he wasn't fast enough with my camera.  And I look down and something

was looking right back at me..  It wasn't the same praying Mantis.

This was just a little guy.. 

He was tucked way down in a bush so it was hard to get a shot..

I had to hold the branch with one hand and take the photo with the other.. 

But I did get some shots.. And he didn't run!!

Just in case my hubby reads this.. I really wasn't that mad at you.. 

Hee Hee.. 

These thing were growing right in the middle of our palm tree.. 

I wonder if you can eat them. I don't think I will give it a try!!

Scavenger Hunt Sunday...

This has been such a nice weekend.
I got a lot done around the house. Had some FUN in my craft room.
Got to enjoy a couple of movies with my better-half.
Yep, I must say for me it has been an all around good weekend so far.

I am hoping and praying that most of the folks on the
East Coast can say they are safe and sound.   I am watching the news while
I am writing this and it looks like New York is shut down.
Such scary stuff going on!  My prayers go out to you!!!


I am back with Ashley's Scavenger Hunt.
Another tough week.  Is it me or are these prompts getting
tougher and tougher?  Oh well that's what makes it a good challenge.

On Wednesday the Hubby and I went out to a community
 called Lake Las Vegas.  One of the radio stations was having a promotion
called wine-down-wednesday.   Free Wine and appetizers.  I thought it would be the
perfect time to get my Night shot..  It is such a beautiful place..

Why is it every time I want to get a photo of my hubby
I get this cheesy smile..  Boy is he going to be mad when he finds out I put this
photo on line.  I say it serves him right.  What do you think!!

The minute I read this prompt I knew I would try to get a shot
of the sun wind chime I have with the sun shining through it..
And I do have to say the SUN has been brutal this week..
SO HOT!!!

I really can't believe I did it.
Out of the 365 day I missed missed 10 days. I am OK with that..

I did learn a lot this year.

But I still feel like there is so much more to learn.

It seems so weird not to be going back to work,
