Some of my 365 day Photo's

I am finally getting around to posting some of my photos..

I have been in some kinda weird funk lately.

Can't seem to get motivated to do a whole lot of anything.

Day #147

I have been doing my daily photo's..  But they have just been sitting in my camera..

Till today!  I was trying to play around with white on white..

  This is a white coffee mug against a white sheer curtain..

Day #148 

This is a shot I took to put on my other blog.. I had been doing a little decoupaging

that day and kinda liked the way this photo turned out.. So I kept it for my 365 photo.

Day #149 

A close up of my cute little kitty..  I added this shot in to a flikr pool that Justine had

started.. The Theme for January is Partially seen.  You can check it out Here.

Day #150 

Most of the plants in my yard are looking a little weathered.. Just like this.

Can't wait for spring.

Day #151 

Yep, This one is also in my backyard.. It is growing like a weed.

It is an aloe vera.

This is one of my favorite bracelets..  I wear it all the time..

Scavenger Hunt Sunday!

I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend so far!
It has been nice and relaxing for me!

Memories - Day #142

My parents used to bring us here when I was a kid.  I remember

Panning for Gold..  And watch the Cowboys have a good old fashion gunfight right on the street.

I was a little disappointed that they didn't have a gunfight this time.. Maybe all the cowboys

 were off for the winter! 

Silhouette

The color of the sky was so beautiful lighting up the desert sky!

Doorway(s)

Look,  back then they had his and hers Outhouses..

Just watch out for those rattlesnakes.

Reflections

This was a glass door to a saddle shop.. I wish I would have taken

my jacket off before I took the shot..  This shot is straight out of the camera.

Just a little cropping that's it!

Another refection shot.. This one was taken not in Calico but a little dinner

that is on the other side of the highway..  Yep they lure you in by saying they

have dinosaurs park at there diner..  I know it does sound a little crazy!

Silver - Day #143

I have a little collection of Salt and Pepper shakers that I have been

collecting since I was about 7 years old..  I just added these Silver S&P shakers

to my collection about 8 years ago..  I found them at an antique shop while we were

on vacation.

Some of my 365 day Photo's

I am finally getting around to getting some of my photo's
edited and posted..  This week has just flown by and kinda got
away from me.  These are my daily 365 photo's.  I do have some
photo's to share from my trip to Calico Ghost town.. But I am still editing
those..  I will have some of them up for Ashley's Scavenger Hunt.

I just love trying to get photo's of Birds.

At the beginning of the week here in Vegas it was pretty warm!

That always makes me want to work out in the yard..  I Planted some

of these pretty Pansy's. They always bring a little color to my yard.

I buy a whole flat of them every year..

Day #145

Another one of my last minute shot..  It was late and I had just realized that

I didn't get my shot in for the day..  Time to get creative..  And they taste pretty good also!

Day #146

Well I got this idea from Rosie's Blog..   She had taken a beautiful photo

of some Basil..  And then had asked us what our favorite herb was.

Well one of mine is Rosemary..  I love the way it smells.

And here in the desert it grows like a weed..

Scavenger Hunt Sunday!

Hello Dear Friends..  As you are reading this I am out of
Town.  We pulled our trailer out west to a little Ghost Town called Calico!
Can't wait to share some photo's when we get back.

So I have pre-scheduled this post.. Not for sure I will get Internet.

I love the way this looks..  It's just one of my Sea Shells
But doesn't it look like a something from space!

This is another shot of my Kitty..  I am constantly cleaning "HAIR" off just
about everything..  She is so worth it!

This shot is of a pretty Yellow daisy..  Got it from my neighbor’s yard.

My hubby hates when I get shot from over there!

  I don't know why, just because I am laying on the ground in my neighbor’s yard is nothing to be embarrassed about...

  Right! 

I am so surprised she sat a posed for me.. I always have such a tough time getting a photo of her!

A Sunday Morning Stroll..

The Hubby and I took a little stroll on Sunday morning. We walk to a park not far
from our house. Usually I don't take my camera along when we take our
walks cause we would get no exercise.. I would have to stop every 5 min.
to take a photo..
Well I took my camera this time and like I said we got no exercise.
But it was a Beautiful day for a nice Sunday stroll..

So these shots to follow our from our walk!


Day #135

I can't believe this guy stopped barking long enough for me to
take his picture..

This is a photo of a some type of sage plant. You could
tell by the wonderful scent it had!

Now this plant is such a famous one that is here in the desert.
The Oleander.. I have never seen these little pods before.
I just love the way they looked in the morning light!

I  thought this looked so cool, I just had to get a shot of it..
I have no idea what it is!

A dried up rose. Still so pretty to me!

 This shot was taken this morning in my Backyard.. It is a little ivy plant I have
and I really can't believe it is still alive..

This is Me!  -  Day #134

Anyone who knows me at all knows that I spend most of my time in

my Jeans and sweatshirt with an old pair of my favorite converse..

Unless it is in the middle of summer of course.

Resolutions

I really am not one to make Resolutions..  I like to try to live each day

in the moment..  Sometimes that is so hard to do.. When I get discouraged

I like to think of  this Bible verse.. It is one of my favorites..

Day #129

I really can't wait for spring..  I miss being able to be outside taking

photo's of beautiful flowers.

Day #131 

I have so many of sea shells, some of them I collected my self and

so of them were bought.  Either way I just love them..  They remind me

of the long strolls on the beach in Carlsbad, California!

Day #132 

Here is a photo of my sweet little kitty!  She hasn't been feeling well lately.

So this is the first time in awhile she wanted go out in our backyard..

Even though it was cold she wanted to lay by the pool for awhile..

Some of my 365 day Photo's

Hi there, I had a little extra time this evening so I

thought I would post some more of my daily photos..

Tomorrow is back to work for me.. I have had the last 3 weeks

off and have been pretty busy most of the time..  But my House is all back in order

 and it is time to get back to my everyday routine...

 Life is good!

So here are some of the photo's I took the last few days..

Day #124

This is a old pepsi  bottle crate that I have in my craft room..

I just love the way it looks and how I can store crafty things in it!

This is a clock we have in our family room.

As you can tell I am running out of things to take photos

of in our house.

Day #126 

These are some fun little goodies my girl friend Becca made for me.

Yep, I put that little bottle in my crate that you saw above.. Looks so cool!

Day #127 

I was out of town on New Years Day..

 We were in Pahrump, NV..  I stopped in to visit

an old friend and she just got herself a couple of these cuties.  She stated that they helped

her with the yard work..  There was not a weed to be found..

Here is the view from the yard of my girlfriends house in Pahrump..  Beautiful!

Day #128 

My daughter came over today and we hung out most of the

afternoon..  She is going to have a baby in about 3 1/2 months. YEA!

I can't wait to be a grandma.. We spent the day chatting about how she

is going to decorate his room.. Yep she is having a boy!

Here is a shot of her baby bump, she is really starting to show now!
