Day #61

Here is a shot of a flower from my front yard..
I snapped this right before we took off on our trip.
I did tell you I was away..  I am in Zion National Park..
So pretty here..

Day #62

I got this shot from right here in our campground.
There were a couple of these bee's and they were pretty busy.
I just love the way his wings were so flat and straight.

Day #63

This is my favorite time of year to come up here.
The leaves are all changing.. We don't really see much of that
in the Vegas.  See the waterfall in the background..

This guy was so friendly..  He was just was just
begging to get his picture taken..

I will post some more picture of my trip from Zion when
I get home.

A Bit Behind....

I have been a bit busy lately, but I have keep up on my

photos..   Just now getting around to posting some of them.

I had gotten this old Lysol bottle a couple at least

a year ago and a antique shop.  It sits on my window

sill with all my other bottles.

I only got a couple of shots this day not real

happy with this one but it's much better than my other

shot..

 sits in my kitchen window sill.

Yes it's that time of year again.  These Halloween photo's

are the only picture's I took this day.  It is my daughter

and her husband and friends, getting ready for a zombie walk.

They look so real to me..  SCARY

sill.  I just love taking pictures of them..  I am

sure you will see more of these in the future.

This shot is of some stamps I have in my craft room.

Scavenger Hunt Sunday!

I am going to join in again in this weeks Scavenger Hunt.
I did pull a couple of shots from my archives.  And I must admit
some of the Word Prompts were challenging,
But who doesn't love a good challenge.

So here we go...

The Five Senses

This one was tough for me..  I took this shot while camping at the ocean last summer.
Nothing gets all your senses going like a shrimp boil at the ocean.

It looks and taste wonderful.  Just hearing the ocean in the back ground and
breathing in all the aromas of the salt water and the food.
Then just digging in with your hand to eat this wonderful meal..
Yummy!





Child/Children - Day 53

I was going to take a photo of my child but she is 23 years old.

So instead I took my camera to work.  (Preschool Teacher)

I got some shots of them during our play time.  Of course I couldn't

use their cute little faces..

Dining

Not one of my favorite shots, I always think of “Dining” as

going out.  My Hubby freaks if I try to take my camera out to dinner

with us..  So here is a shot of us dinning at home..  Tacos for Dinner..

Night

The moon was so big and bright I had to use this shot..

These pelican's flew right into my sky shot.

Day #52

 This photo was taken our last day in Mexico.
I didn't get to many shots that day because we left for
our long drive home.
I kinda like the way it turned out.



Below are some more random shots..

It was fun to see how many people used all
different types of statues in this community in Mexico.

Here is another one, I just loved the way she looked.

I must have taken at least 15 shots of these guys

trying to get a decent shot.  They looked so cool in person..

Day #54

I am not really happy with this shot. I tried to play

around with it but I think there was no help for this shot..

My Trip To Mexico..

For my Birthday last week a group of us went to Mexico and stayed at
a friend's house..  We had a great time. It was overcast most of the time, which
I really enjoyed. 

So here are some shots I got. These are for

Days #49 thru #52

In the little gated community where we stayed, most of the houses had
these cool little wooden doors.  That is where there power meters were.

I just love the way the water would collect on these leaves..

Our host took me all the way down the block to show me this beautiful
cactus. The bloom on it was so pretty.  It almost didn't look real.

These door handles and latches looked so old and rusty to me. Very Cool!

I snaped this shot out the car window on our way to Ensenada.
 The ocean looked so cold and peaceful on this day.

Of course I had to get a shot of this boat.

The name says it all!

It is amazing how bad these guys smell, when they look so cute.

It is so hard to get a shot of these little guys. I tried to sneak up on
them to get a shot.. This is the best one I could get.

I have been so busy.   I snapped this shot in a hurry first thing
in the morning. I knew I would be pretty busy the rest
of the day!  Not the best shot, But it not bad for the rush I
was in..  I got this shot of a dried up leaf on the wall in my backyard.

 So Here is a good example of  how the heat here in the
desert can burn some of the leaves here..  I know it should
have been just one leaf..  Sorry..

this weeks prompt, but they just didn't work out.
So I had to pull out my back up shot.

I took this photo while on a walk to the park.

It is not what I had in mind at all for my simple shot..

I could not believe it when I went to have a cup of tea

the other day and this is what it said...  How perfect is that..

Now if I could only live by those words..
