The Sunday Creative...

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend..
Yes I am playing another week over with
The Sunday Creative.

Justine is hosting again this week and the word prompt is

LONELY

Lonely: 1. lone; solitary; without company, companionless. 2. remote from places of human habitation. 3. standing apart; isolated.

As you can see my shot is of a lonely leaf..  all by itself.

To take a look at the other entries you can head over to
Justine's Blog HERE!

Thanks Justine I really liked this weeks prompt..

Below are some photos I wanted to share.  I took them to
play along in this weeks scavenger hunt.  But I got a little to busy
this weekend I really couldn't finish getting all the shots..

Day #77

I have been taking Kim Klassen skinny mini eCourse.
And this is the photo that I had used to apply some of the
techniques she is teaching us.  I kinda like the way it turned out..
Now if I could only remember all the steps.  And yes this is
one of her textures I used.

Day #76

Well here is another photo I just could not get it right.  I think I must have
shot about 25 of these shots. Different angles. Different camera settings,
I really need to trust my histogram.
Once again I tried to play around with it to make it look better but no such luck..

Hope everyone has a wonderful week.
And thanks so much for stopping by..

Hugs, Linda

  1. That lonely leaf is stunning, great shots Linda!
I can't find a camera shop the past 2 days in Seattle, I might have to do it here, we took out the broken glass but I think the rim is kind of out of shape a little, I will bring it to a camera shop to check it out!

  5. Love the plant in the cage, Linda. You talk about histograms. I've seen it on one of my camera setting but don't know how to "use" it. Maybe you would just give me some hints. I'd really appreciate it. Thanks,Carol

  10. I like them all, and I really do like that last shot, but I know what you mean about not getting it just right sometimes. I think we are our own worst critics though - your photos are just fantastic!
